The art of dissolution

Amakaba is inspired by the architecture and mystic of the universe, in awe at the myriad of ways its creation has been described throughout time, and how new scenarios keep being made about our origins. Amakaba gathers cosmological stories from the amazon and beyond, learning from elders, as well as collaborating with astrophysicists and astronomers, weaving discourses and knowledge systems. Yearning for infinity, from the smallest quantum particles to the immensity of the cosmos, Amakaba bridges worlds, both seen and unseen.

To be in synch with cosmic cycles and planetary rhythms, we celebrate equinoxes, solstices, and the phases of the Moon. We hold night walks through the forest on full moons and gather for astronomical observation. We hope to build an observatory and planetarium to share the wisdom of the sky.
